Clan Araknis:
Is a traditional clan of Assassins founded 1500 years ago, recently used by the government for Black Ops situations. The last Grand Mistress was Carmine Araknis. The symbol of the Clan is a Wolf Spider and it's symbol of leadership is the Sword, "Kirin". However, the clan was betrayed and annihiliated. The only survivors of the massacre were Danielle and Sicily.
Clan Infiltrators:
Infiltrators are adept in disguise, stealth, social skills, seduction, lockpicking, pickpocketing, breaking and entering, hacking and other forms of espionage. They are often tasked to blend into different levels of society to gather information.
Infiltrators are trained specially to take out multiple targets from a distance (300m - 1km away) or up close one to one. Due to their specialization, they tend to be weaker in their physical attacks and will avoid confrontations when faced with more than one enemy.
Clan Interceptors:
Interceptors are the clan's bodyguards. Their specializations range from close combat, long range weapons to demolitions. These assassins are specially trained to take out as many targets within the shortest amount of time using any means possible. They are normally assigned as backup for Infiltrators or to "soften" enemy defences.
Project: Sentinel
Project: Sentinel was a failure due to their inability to solve the emotional burnout factor. Sentinels that go into a fit of anger become uncontrollable. When beserk, they do not differentiate between friend or foe and will not stop until all their energy is spent. As such, the whole facility that housed Project: Sentinel was flattened along with everything else within a 3 mile radius. The project was never revived even after a 200 years.
General Light Organic Ordanance Machination (GLOOM):
Was created by an unknown organization from a parallel universe. The GLOOMs are a military replacement, used to police the state. There have been 25 versions of the GLOOMs to date.
GL-Y (aka GLOOM-Y):
Was the latest GLOOM prototype. It was lost during it's final test run and they have not been able to breed a similar version ever since. Location is unknown.
GL-X (aka GLOOMaX):
Is the standard pedigree of the GLOOM, highly efficient and dangerous up close. They are relatively hard to breed as well.
Portals:
Portals are dimensional doors linking from one world to another. Who created them and how they are activated are still a mystery.
